About the Pedigree
Drakkar´s sire is stallion Darbek was born in 2009 at K.Zakariev´s farm in Dagestan. Under the ownership of G. Isaev he passed succesful racing career, with two victories (including Otkrytyi Priz), three second places (including Prize of Gundogar and Prize of Zakrytia) and two third places (including Prize of Mazan). At the end of 2015 he was bought by Markus Hubmann and imported to Europe. In 2016 he won the title of Champion of stallions at the Corona Bohemiae Cup, where he was also awarded by Selection Hope title. At same event he won "Evaluation of movement" contest under the saddle.
Darbek´s sire, 1478 Dartai, was born in 2003 at the studfarm Dagestanskii. He passed succesful racing career as 2-3 y.o., in 10 starts he placed 6 times, including victory in Prize of Absent, 2nd place in the Prize of Budyonny and 3rd place in the Prize of Kazakhstan. He got 7,5 points for performance ability. In 2006 he won title of Champion of the Breed at the Russian Akhalteke championship in Piatigorsk. Dartai offspring is quite succesful at the racetrack, let´s mention Demir-Tau, Darbazan, Darbek or Kyurdamir.
Darbek´s dam, 3478 Drama, tiny bay mare, was born in 2001 at the studfarm Akhalt-Service. She started career of broodmare
in Dagestan, where she became mother of 4 foals, including Darbek. Later she was sold to Russian owner, but her offspring was not registered.
Drakkar´s dam 3513 Jana-Jan was born in 2006 on our farm. As a 2 years old she became Junior Champion of Europe in Gut Ising. She is dam of Absolute European champion Shergir and his full sister, European Junior champion Jangi (both by Samurai), 2nd place in the category of yearlings at European championship 2012 Jih, Elite graded Sipahi, etc.
Jana-Jan´s sire is golden buckskin stallion Mingam. Toporbai line, imported in 2004 from Akhalt-Service, Russia. Mingam was athletic stallion, with hot temperament but with behavior of nobleman. He won several exhibitions races in Czech Republic, was regular participant of the biggest equine shows and exhibitions (he loved that). Mingam had good working capabilities, good movement with technical jump and excellent working attitude - this can be said also for his offspring. At the time he was imported to Czech Republic, there was only limited number of purebred mares, so he was used mostly in partbred breeding. He is unfortunately sire of only 4 purebred foals, all of them of high quality. Mingam was ranked on 3rd and 4th place in the world ranking of breeding stallions according the quality of their offspring.
Jana-Jan´s dam is 2698 Davenda, El line. She was imported in 2004 from Akhalt-Service, Russia and became our foundation mare. Davenda succeeded in breeding already in Russia, producing 3rd and 5th placed at the World Championship, stallion Karakhan, who later became breeding stallion. Except him, two other sons of Davenda are used in breeding - Galadaw (by Germes, Ak Sakal line) in Uruguay (where he became champion of El Prado exhbition twice) and Damask (by Aksum, Arab line) in Czech Republic. Except above-mentioned Jana-Jan, Davenda is dam of several other daughters, including Darakhshan (by Gumon, Kaplan line), winner of several 80-102 km endurance competition in 2018-2019 or Dijanitra (by Germes, Ak Sakal line), 2nd place in her category at CBC championship in 2016, where she also aquired Selection Hope title or Djeren-Djan (by Mingam), Elite graded, etc.
Drakkar belongs to the family 1252 Kepderi (Lachin). Kepderi, buckskin, was born in 1953 in Turkmenistan, by Ter Kush (Toporbai line), out of 969 Temri (Toporbai line) and was the product of close inbreeding II x II to stallion 044 Tillya Kush. Among her daughters we can find mare 1488 Djakhan, 1590 Lolla (champion of the breed and dam of Lakmus, succesful race and sport horse), 1588 Lan and 2350 Leili. Kepderi family is giving quite versatile athletes - let´s mention Derby winner Dasht, 160km endurance horse Gyshgun, Durkhal (2nd place in 248km endurance competition), M-level dressage Damgan and Shumer Shael, by Anja Beran in classical dressage trained Degni Shael, show jumper Demirkhanum or promising young "movers" Gazam and Adair, etc.
